Week 17-18 of Contest Prep
Week 1 Summary/Averages:
So, it’s time to try to push it hard. Prep hasn’t gone as planned by no means. Too many weeks that wasn’t as planned and everything can be linked to different outside stressors. Anyway, I’m by no means throwing the towel and will start pushing it hard now. What this means is basically increasing my cardio, NEAT and bringing down my calories.

- Weight: 172.5 lbs (down 0.7lbs last week)
- Sleep: 7.43 hours

Week 2 Summary/Averages:
Full on “pushing mode” and the weight finally drops again. It took a while though until it showed on the scale so dropped more weight over the past two weeks that you might assume when looking at my average drop. Feeling fresh enough and also not really hungry but I was extremely busy over the past 2 weeks, which probably took my mind off of dieting. However, I must say that my injured hip which I had surgery on back in December. It worries me big time because it is the first time that it flared up since then and I really don’t hope that I re-injured it because I pushed my body too hard.
I went to see my doctor and we did an MRI, which I’m going to receive next week. If that comes back with a negative result, this would definitely be the moment in which I was to stop the prep. I didn’t undergo the surgery and 8 weeks on crutches only to get on stage with sticks as legs or a re-damaged hip because of my stupiditeness. The stage will always be there…but, as long as I don’t have any negative results, I’ll stay at it!

Latest Physique Update
When it comes to my life, extremely much has happened in the past weeks and also in terms of progress. Pushing shows in my physique but will it be sustainable? That’s the question only time can tell.
