002: Revive to Stage – Overreaching & Deload

Weeks Data – 27th Feb to 12th March

Week 1 Summary/Averages:

This was week three of dieting and of my mesocycle, feeling much more in tune with the diet. Routine meals and timings for training etc. all now in place, making life a lot easier. Egg whites, oats, cocoa powder and whey protein all staples right now.

  • Macros: 187p | 282c (46fibre) | 53f – 2355kcal 
  • Weight: 174.76
  • Sleep: 7 hours
  • Hunger: 3/5
  • Energy: 3/5
  • Steps: 11,658
  • Cardio: 550kcal

Week 2 Summary/Averages:

Weight still not budging, but I know why and so wrote an article about this here. This was also my week prior to deload, sleep hours were up but quality was down, typical signs of overreaching. Also went out for a pub quiz this week and just noticed I was struggling to ‘get involved’ and couldn’t sit comfortably in my chair.

  • Macros: 186p | 282c (43fibre) | 52f – 2344kcal 
  • Weight: 174.21
  • Sleep: 7 hours
    • Poor quality
  • Hunger: 4/5
  • Energy: 4/5
    • Low after deadlift day, good at the start of the week (after Sunday rest day)
  • Steps: 12,758
  • Cardio: 550kcal

Latest Physique Update

Weight might not be down…but certainly looking leaner 🙂 – Working on each pose to perfect them, recently noticed my right side actually looks better than my left, but had always chosen to do a left side chest/tricep. All about trying to get the small details right.

  • Taken first thing on Saturday morning (no pump, little food etc.)
  • Light source behind camera, to give as realistic updates as possible (no half natty lighting)
