  • 25:36 If you are going from MEV to MRV, at some point your fatigue will accumulate and performance will drop. However, if you were to lower the weight (but it still being above 60%1RM) you could probably do more volume (ie.sets) per session and per week. Is this a way to get around reaching your MRV.
  • 36:03 How do you decide when it’s time to have “the talk” with a client about lack of compliance if their adherence issues are seriously putting their goals at risk? Or do you prefer to approach it more gradually?
  • 44:57 What are your thoughts on Bret Contreras’ recent Instagram post (from January 11) in which he argues that gradually recomping is better than going through cutting and bulking phases? Do the benefits of a more “moderate” approach outweigh those of a more extreme approach? Would you say he is targeting the general population with this post as opposed to a competitive bodybuilder?
